For You

Wynn's eyesight has been fading ever since he was a little boy, and there are times when he is completely blind now that he is older. But he doesn't need eyes to see how beautiful Annaka is. She is always there- she had always been there. Others would leave him, but she made sure that he was never alone.
They had met when they were little kids. Annaka had gotten lost in the forest near the village where they lived, having wandered away to look for wild berries. Wynn, setting out on his own, went to find her. It was a foolish venture. As his vision blurred and cleared time and time again, he became hopelessly lost. The only way he found Annaka was by her singing.
That night, there was a terrible storm. But the two children kept each other's hopes up. From the time that they were brought home to the village, they were best friends. Annaka and Wynn grew up together, sharing their hopes and dreams. She was there when he experienced his first period of blindness, and promised to never leave him.
Wynn's gift has been called "the gift of understanding." He can often see into the heart of another person and sometimes see their past. Annaka has never told him what her gift is.
For now, they live out their days in the village of vampires. Annaka has just received a bouquet of slightly mismatched roses as a promise to take her to the harvest dance.


Huzzah! I have posted the first picture of summer! *phew* This one took me some time. This picture is a horrendously, almost unforgivably late birthday present for . _{Her birthday was in March >.<} Well, here it is!
It took me a lot longer to finish than I anticipated. As you can see, this is totally not in my style at all. But I kinda like how it turned out. I almost took out all of the lineart, which is a first for me--but also why this took soooo long.


Anyway, I'll stop going on about that. Hope you like them!
